Amy is an occupational psychologist with over 15 years’ experience working in academia and consultancy, specialising in talent assessment and development. She is passionate about enhancing the effectiveness of organisations, teams and individuals through the alignment of business objectives and talent strategies, she combines senior level delivery with a strong commercial background having successfully negotiated and managed major contracts in the career mobility and talent management field.
Amy has a passion for diversity and in particular around the ‘Women in Leadership’ agenda, having worked on a key piece of thought leadership ‘Women in Leadership – When women lead businesses do better’ championing the need for the corporate world to learn from smaller women led businesses.
Amy has worked on a variety of projects; recent examples include rolling out a career development programme within the banking sector to over 100,000 employees. Development of a leadership framework for a leading construction business. Coaching senior executives in transition to create impact within their first 90 days in a new role.
Amy started her career in the BBC within publications marketing. Within 2 years she had moved to a start-up funded by venture capital in which she undertook a variety of roles both operational and commercial. She has worked in Right Management for over 14 years incorporating a short break when she worked for PA Consulting. She has undertaken both commercial and delivery roles, taking up the Centre of Excellence position in January 2018.
